TYPE 101

The main problems that I and probably many other people are having is looking for information on the internet and finding medical websites with large medical terms and a very high density of information. This is what I wanted to try and solve by creating a consistent set of info-graphics taking advantage of animate well as the people surrounding them by educating them to know, what is the difference between hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia?

so they know what they can do to assist or get medical attention for a diabetic in the correct way as from questionnaires one in 10 people knew what the condition was a how to treat it.I believe the collection of posters, banners and the website would help people help each other and themselves, as well as create a community of people for a diabetic person to talk to with both sides understanding what is being said. This I hope will improve the quality of life of people with this lifelong condition.

If I was to continue this project I would create cousin websites about other conditions to do the same thing, and try to create a population that has a better understanding of what is happening not only to ourselves but to others.

Project goal

In this project i want to raise awareness and help type 1 diabetics as well as the people who live with and around them.

This was one of my main goals of this project not just to help the person with the condition but to help everyone around them to understand and to be able to help if necessary.

I got the idea for this when I had to give first aid to a person and I was the only first aider in the room so I had to teach other people what to do as I was trying to help the person myself, in addition to this my brother had just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so my family and I had to learn fast about the condition.

This is where I found the subject I wanted to focus on, the simplification and organisation on information regarding type 1 diabetes.
